Gracie is like so many of our cats here at RAIN, "socialized"... We try to make sure our cats here, young and old, are introduced to everything that they may encounter in the home environment... Our catteries here at RAIN are set up to look and be as close to a home living condition as possible... We have couches and chairs, lamps, end tables, tv, radio and of course the vaccum cleaner... some of our cats even let us use the attachments to keep their coats looking spiffy... We allow some of our adoptable dogs to enter in and mingle with the cats, and yes, even the pitbulls... Which we have found does not bother either of the pets... We just have to keep an eye on the food, which the dogs gravitate to and try to munch down quickly... Our cats are trained to the litter box and enjoy the view from the windows... They are however use to central heating and air... People who have adopted from RAIN in the past, have been extremely happy with their new pet and have sent friends to adopt also... Our kittens are usaully raised in a foster environment where they can become socialized as well, and as healthy as possible... Please look at all of wonderful cats before making your decision... We do have several seniors who have come to us from different animal controls hoping for us to help them find good retirement homes... We here at RAIN feel our animals are ALL special needs, the need to be special to someone... The adoption fee includes FIV/Feluk testing, current shots including Rabies, spay/neuter, current wormings, current flea treatment. Most are introduced to other cats and some are introduced to dogs.
