Hello! If you have a bird (any size) that you aren't able to keep, or just think it could have a better home: then please respond to this add. I absolutely love birds! I am NOT a force-breeder. I let my birds breed as they wish, with whomever they wish--just like in their natural habitat! I have two Green Cheek Conures, 6 parakeets, 10 cockatiels, a parrotlet, and a lovebird. I'm interested in bigger birds(macaws, african greys, amazons, etc.) And no, your Amazon will not eat my little parakeets :) I will give them all equal flying time by caging the smaller birds(I have large cages for bad weather to put them in) for a few hours, and letting the big ones fly, and vice versa. Only problem I've had with the birds fighting is my little female lovebird(pictured below) and my G.C. Conure--they just will NOT get along! So, I let them both have equal flying time. I will NOT take a bird that plucks or is incredibly mean. I have a very large 10x20' aviary in my backyard. It used to be an aluminum shed, but my dad converted it into an aviary by putting hardware cloth in the middle all around. It's set in concrete, and in a few places, it's 3' underground; so no snakes. I have several different types of birds.I spend time with my birds daily, and they receive a pellet and seed diet. In the fall/winter months, I give them kale fresh from my garden every day. For the summer and spring months, I just give them plenty of water, baths, and occasionally some fresh fruits and veggie's and millet spray. I have a lock on the door, so no one can steal/get in. I have someone to watch the birds when we are gone(maybe 3-6 times a year). I have almost 3 years of experience with birds and other animals.
